The Hospital History

The 22 Bahman Hospital History

The 22nd Bahman Hospital was handed over in 1379 by the philanthropist, Mr. Abdul Hossein Bahman, with charitable goals and helping the people of the region to meet the needs of healthcare and medical education. In the early years of establishment, the hospital had limited internal departments – surgery, emergency room, maternity ward and operating room. In terms of the fact that the region has a dense population with a low economic status and a large number of Afghan immigrants live there, and they also have a lower social level, which requires the existence of acceptable and advanced medical facilities and services. The Islamic Azad University of Mashhad and the dedicated staff of the honorable Vahemet Khairin Hospital during several development phases, specialized and super-specialized departments were also added to it, and currently it has 175 approved beds and 110 operating beds, and it has a rating of 1 from the Ministry of Health and It is treatment.
