The informatics unit of the hospital is considered and managed as an administrative subdivision of the hospital. The informatics department is under the supervision of the informatics department of the Islamic Azad University, Mashhad branch in making big decisions.
The main services of this unit are hardware support, as well as consulting in the purchase and regulation of contracts, and support of hospital management and control software systems (HIS), accounting and support of hardware systems, management of professors’ and students’ coffee nets, and support of the hospital’s website.
The hospital has one main server and five peripheral servers that control the internet network and peripheral software of the hospital, and currently more than one hundred computer systems and about 80 clients are active at the same time, and the informatics department of the hospital is responsible for supporting these systems. is in charge
The main activities of the informatics unit in the software department, considering the importance of patient treatment, is supporting the hospital’s HIS system, which includes the following software:
- Management of inpatient departments, operating room, delivery room, special departments, NICU, dialysis ICU.
- Laboratory, pathology
- Laboratory, imaging medicine pathology (radiology and sonography and CT scan)
