The hospital’s radiology unit has the following departments:

Ultrasound Unit

This center is equipped with an advanced ultrasound machine and is also active in the evening shift.

Imaging Unit

The radiology unit is equipped with a digital imaging system.

Preparations for specialized exams in the imaging department of 22 Bahman Hospital:

I.V.P. test:

The night before the photoshoot, have a light dinner at 8 p.m. One hour after dinner, drink the castor oil (according to the instructions on the bottle) completely (strain it) until the end of the night, and drink fluids at bedtime. On the morning of the photoshoot, arrive at 9 a.m. on an empty stomach.

Barium enema test:

The day before the photoshoot, one hour after lunch, drink the castor oil (according to the instructions on the bottle). At 8 pm, strain the second castor oil. Drink fluids (such as water or tea) until the end of the night before going to bed. Arrive at 8 am on the morning of the photoshoot.

Necessary items:
  • 2 bottles of castor oil
  • Barium sulfate powder
  • Redhead Nelaton Catheter

Double contrast barium enema test:

The day before the photo shoot, one hour after lunch, apply castor oil (according to the instructions on the bottle). At 7 pm, apply the second castor oil. At 10 pm, do an enema with serum. At 6:30 am on the day of the photo shoot, do an enema with lukewarm water. Come to the appointment at 9 am, fasting.

Necessary items:
  • 2 bottles of castor oil, 40 grams each
  • 2 bottles of castor oil, 40 grams each
  • IV Infusion Set
  • Red head Nelaton catheter
  • And in barium sulfate

U.G.T. test
(Photography of the stomach and esophagus)

Fast for 10 hours before the photoshoot.

Transit test
(X-ray of the small intestine)

No special preparation is required.

Ba.s test
(photograph of the esophagus)

R.U.G. Test
